Orientation program of ‘Summer 2026’ session was held at East Delta University in a grand manner.
Orientation program of ‘Summer 2026’ session was held on Friday 22nd May, 3:30 pm at the campus of East Delta University (EDU) in a festive and stimulating atmosphere to welcome the new students of the university. The university campus is decorated in a colorful way to commemorate the start of this journey of higher education for the new students.
Eminent educationists, policy makers and corporate personalities of the country will be present at the event to guide and inspire the young students:

The main objective of the orientation program is to introduce the new students to the academic system and academic culture of the university. Keynote speaker Shafayet Kabir Chowdhury will shed light on the current needs of the corporate world and its synergy with academic education. On the other hand, Major Rezaul Karim (Retd.) will provide students with food for visionary thinking in the national and international context.
In his speech as the chief guest, Saeed Al Noman, MP welcomed the fresh students and expressed deep sorrow over Ramisa’s untimely and tragic departure. He said:
“We are deeply saddened. We observe a minute’s silence to pray for Ramisa’s soul. We believe that under the visionary and strict leadership of the honorable Prime Minister, this heinous incident will be brought to justice and the perpetrators will be punished to the maximum.”
He further said, we don’t just want to teach well,We want to make good people. We don’t just want to produce graduates for Chittagong, we want to produce graduates for the whole world.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Nazim Uddin expresses his sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone for their cooperation in making the event a success. He also said that you will not be identified as Eduvians from now on. wherever you liveWherever you go, the name of East Delta University will always be with you. So try to enrich this name.
